This jam came to together at the last minute. Emails went out that morning.
Confirmed and greenlighted. I jumped on the highway north of Toronto for an hour, rolled into Barrie... and then played all day long. I love it when it happens like that. No precieved ideas or expectations. Pure musical last minute freedom. After listening back... it reminded me of Eddie Hazel's Maggot Brain and a little Trower mixed in. I have no idea where this stuff comes from. It seems we are just a radio antenna to the universe...We called the day's session BIG FOOT. Here's a taste...

TAKE TWO - Longtrain Blues

Friday, November 04, 2011

It's October...the month of muse, and the top of the pyramid for me. (Creatively speaking). So what does a no-name, low brow artist to do?...Well that's obvious isn't it?... pack your damn bags boy...get on a a fuckin fast train...don't forget your acoustic...and don't get off until you get to Montreal. The town for musers...just like the blues men before me. Here is a taste of 4 hours of music, made with my mon amie from Montreal...the D-Man!...if you listen closely you can hear the fan blowin in the wind!
